Fellowships

Being a tertiary referral centre in a teaching hospital, BMEC has trained hundreds of Ophthalmologists across the UK and from overseas over the years.

The following fellowships are available at BMEC:

Cornea:

• One post CCT (or equivalent) fellowship for 12 months

Glaucoma:

• One junior fellowship for 12 months – suitable for those who want experience in Ophthalmology and Research in order to pursue a career in Ophthalmology
• Two senior post CCT (or equivalent) fellowships

Medical Retina:

• Two post CCT (or equivalent) fellowships for 12 months

Neuro-Ophthalmology:

• One post CCT (or equivalent) fellowship for 12 months

Oculoplastics:

• One  post CCT (or equivalent) fellowships for 12 months

Ocular Trauma:

• One  post CCT (or equivalent) fellowships for 12 months

Vitreo-Retinal Surgery:

• Two post CCT (or equivalent) fellowships for 12 months

Uvelitis:

• One junior fellowship for 12 months – suitable for those who want experience in Ophthalmology in order to pursue a career in Ophthalmology
