Marc’s Hairy Adventure

BMEC patient Marc is doing his bit for the Mayors’ chosen charities-BMEC and BUDS- this month in a sponsored head shave and beard dye.

Marc who has been a patient of BMEC for 10 years looked raring to go during a promotional event in the BMEC foyer this week. Marc said he is ‘looking forward to it even though it will be strange to not have any hair’. It goes without saying that he is a brave young man, his hair reaching well below his shoulders, this will only add to the effect and excitement on the day. His beard which he has been growing for four years will be dyed two different bright colours. At his event in BMEC passers-by were asked to choose from a total of four colours including luminescent green, fire red, flamingo pink and blue. But we will have to wait until on the day to see which one is most popular.

Described as ‘Marc’s hairy adventure’ this event will be one not to miss at the Mayor’s Family Fun Day which is taking place on the 24^th May at Sandwell Valley.
