Doctor’s mess

The Eye Centre has its own doctor’s mess that is available for the use of all Ophthalmology doctors working in the West Midlands Deanery.

Resources:

• Refreshments
• Computer with internet access
• Widescreen television
• Comfortable sofas and plenty of extra chairs for holding small meetings

Monday Lunchtime Meetings BMEC:

Every Monday there lunch provided for all doctors at BMEC. Each week there is a different sponsor and they often have important new information to share regarding up coming courses and events or about new products.

These meetings are usually informal and all are welcome.

Mess Fees:

All doctors working in BMEC are asked to contribute £6 a month towards mess fees. Those trainees working in peripheral hospitals are asked to contribute £3 a month.
